[Closed] Financier Bistro + Bar | Orlando Foodie Finds

It was kind of fate. I’d been down in this part of town many times before and had tried out a lot of restaurants in the area. It had been some time and I wanted to take a stroll on a weekend, so I went and was walking up Park Ave in Winter Park, and this French Bistro caught my eye. Cause let’s be real, French anything catches my eye. So you know I had to go in!

I’m glad I did! There was just such a great vibe. It was small, had cute decor and they were so accommodating because I took my sweet time and enjoyed my afternoon pretending I was actually in France. I had picked up a book from the Writer’s Block Bookstore, just a couple doors down, before I headed in. You can say I was prepared for a French dining experience.

The menu was limited but covered all the bases. I started with a regular old coffee and chose the Poulet Rotit for my meal. The meal was good, nothing ground-breaking. I would go back to try some other items on the menu, and just enjoy the atmosphere. The service was great, they did not rush me at all and allowed me to enjoy my meal and read my book for a few hours. Yeah, you read that right, I spent a few hours there. I noticed quite a few brunch parties enjoying mimosas, so I’d suggest it for a cute date spot or a hangout with girlfriends.

I’m always on the hunt for a great French spot! Happy I stumbled into this one and am ready for the next one!
