A creative-inspired coffee shop? Count me in! I heard about Qreate a while ago and just made it in recently. As soon as I walked in the staff and atmosphere was so welcoming! There is a decent amount of space for a coffee shop in the Mills 50/Downtown Orlando area. There were some smaller tables and a few larger tables… And a photo shoot setup, aka, the studio part. Apparently, you can rent the area out for your creative endeavors, which is super cool! I love the whole concept!
I ended up ordering a Tiger Latte by recommendation of the barista. There were some other cool-sounding specialty drinks on the menu that I would try the next time around. Honestly, no hate to this barista or recommendation, it was just a very mid-drink. It’s a drink I could have gotten at various other coffee shops, so it didn’t wow me. It wasn’t bad by any means, it just wasn’t quite what I wanted – and that’s on me for not just looking through the menu and ordering for myself. Coffee shop prices can vary quite a bit in price, this drink ran me $6 and some change and ultimately $7 something with tip. There was only one size option, and it is a larger size. So given that, I’d say the price is fair, but definitely at the higher price point in general imo.
I did enjoy the vibe of the place. I was able to find a table and get into my creative zone. I enjoyed the music that was playing, and it wasn’t too loud. I went on a Sunday afternoon, and for the most part, it was pretty chill. Right around lunchtime, it got busier and louder. So depending on how many people are there, I could see it getting loud if you consider it for a study or work location. But I would say that’s just during the rush period. And Qreate has a parking lot around the corner with plenty of space. This is clearly a top priority of mine.
Qreate, I do believe we will meet again. I will try something new next time!
