Wine By George is another one of my Disney Springs staple restaurants. I even had my 30th birthday dinner there. So obviously this is going to be a good review.

For the most part, I usually get a drink or two and split apps with whomever I go with. Of course, I normally get a glass of wine when I stop by, but this last visit I saw a cocktail that caught my eye… The Umami Mommy, is a surprise surprise, mezcal-based drink with some Port. So there was still some wine involved! It was worth the departure from a glass of wine.

For apps, I split the Crispy Mac and Cheese Bites and House-Made Meatballs with a friend. I love the Mac and Cheese bites, they are perfectly creamy and just pure deliciousness. I enjoyed the meatballs and would get them again, just wasn’t like blown away by them, ya know? I did enjoy the polenta that it was served on as well. Both of those dishes were perfectly filling for us.

I’ve gotten a variety of apps over the years and have never been disappointed. Much like my last review… Or any Disney review, the prices are steep. My drink price was on par with the apps, all of them ringing in at $16 or $17. A great tapas-style option, but it still adds up. Even so, this is probably one of my top Disney restaurants.
