I do love me some sushi. I’m on a mission to find my go-to spot. You know, somewhere that’s affordable and worth it. I found this spot on a Google search and it had decent reviews so I gave it a go!
I did get some kind of a sake-tini, it was apple-based. Honestly, nothing to write home about. I probably wouldn’t opt to get a drink if I did end up going again. This definitely isn’t a spot known for its cocktails, but they do have a decent selection of imported beers, which is what my friend got.
For my foods, I opted for an appetizer and one sushi roll. I started with the Crispy Ginger Duck Roll. I had gotten a duck roll at a really great restaurant some time ago, so when I saw this on the menu I wanted to try it out. It’s a parotta with some duck, greens, avocado, and sauce. All the elements were yummy, but it just wasn’t like the quality I was hoping for. Plus, there was just far too much sauce that drowned everything out. I’m the kind of person who wants all the sauce options but on the side. I want to dip dip, I don’t want it to be drowned. I’d probably not order this again. Again it’s not bad, but I just felt like I could have thrown this together.

My sushi roll was super yummy. I got the Thai Pham Special. Here’s the description from the website: Spicy crunchy white tuna & avocado inside topped with tuna, salmon, yellowtail & trio caviars, drizzled with spicy & eel sauce. I can’t say I remember it a whole lot, but I do know I ate it up.

Overall, it was alright. I would probably go back to try some different roles, but also in no rush. If you do have a go-to sushi spot in Orlando, let me know in the comments!
