This spot is super trendy these days! I had heard about this spot a few years ago, as always through the socials. Originally I was lured in for their croissant French Toast, unfortunately, I found it underwhelming. But it’s really been buzzy for its rooftop bar and so I went back with some friends.
The views were nice, Orlando is really making itself the place to be. We arrived as the sun was setting so it was super pretty. It was packed the evening we went. We had made reservations so we had no issues getting seated. It was super vibey, and not that I have any options, but a totally cute date night vibe.
My friends and I just chilled there for a bit and had just one drink. Being so packed, it was loud, so I could barely hear my friends who were sitting right next to me. I will say the drinks are pricey. Both of my friends got Espresso Martinis, but one of my friends opted to not have the Bailey’s to reduce the lactose. Unfortunately, he didn’t love the drink, my other friend enjoyed it enough. My drink was around $22, but it was supposed to come with a show. On the menu, it mentioned that they make it in front of you, but our waiter said he wouldn’t be able to. I unfortunately froze and ordered it anyway. I honestly feel like it shouldn’t have cost as much without the full event because it was just a regular cocktail otherwise.
We went back and forth on ordering food. Honestly, nothing was speaking to me and I knew The Bao Spot was around the corner, so I convinced my friends to walk over there. So nothing to report on that end. And the other con for me is that parking is in the hotel garage and there’s no parking validation. So it’s an extra cost on top of the expensive drinks.
Listen, if I ever find a date, I think this would be a cute spot. Even though it was louder than I would have liked. It’s definitely a spot for dressing up with your friends and enjoying the view and vibes. Like I would take people from out of town here, it’s one of our few ‘rooftop’ bars here in Orlando. But it won’t be a go-to spot for me.
