This spot has been on my radar for a while and for some reason every time I was in that part of town and thought about going, it was a Sunday and closed. So finally I decided to intentionally not go on a Sunday. It’s snug between some other great spots like Sampaguita and Mamak. Some of my favorite spots right now are in this area right by Mills, so many options and great options at that. And you can just hop from one to the next. A great location to go bar hopping or like I did, have a productive coffee date work date, dinner, and then drinks.

The place was buzzing when I got there right around noon. It is a small spot, so it was a competition to find a seat. I had to claim a spot before ordering just so I had a spot to work and dine at. I kept my eyes peeled and after a little bit, a table opened up and I wasted no time to snag it. So just beware if you want to stay in, you may have to play the waiting game.

Haan has a good selection of coffees, matcha, and a few bites. I ordered the black sesame latte, which is listed as a non-coffee beverage. I’m a huge fan of sesame-flavored things, so I was pretty instantly sold on the option. But then the barista asked if I wanted coffee in it and I was like… Yes, please! It was a good drink, much sweeter side than I would have liked and the sesame flavor was super subtle. I would have loved the flavor to be more prominent and I’m not sure if it was because I added coffee which diluted the flavor. My friends joined me and one ordered an iced strawberry matcha and the other ordered a cappuccino. Both of them loved their drinks which looked great. I also grabbed the Korean Street Toast, which was pretty good.

Even though I didn’t love my choice, I enjoyed it enough and would definitely come back to try some of the other options.
