I’ve been loving the College Park area. Edgewater Drive has many options, including Adriatico’s and Turci Pasta. Each time I go, I find a new place I want to check out. I had heard about Cups & Pups a while ago, and the name itself caught my attention, but by the time I thought to go, they had shut down the location I knew about. I came to learn it was in preparation to open up in this area. I stopped by after an aerial yoga class for a post-workout pick-me-up.

The Vibe: It’s such a cute little spot. Some fun, funky in-wall shape cutouts with built-in bench seating. Light pastels and clean, rounded shapes. Very aesthetically pleasing. There were a few indoor and outdoor seating options. Good doggos are allowed in, but mainly for the outdoor seating. I won’t lie, I was disappointed there were no pups simply made available at all times for cuddles.

The Menu: I ended up going with a [strawberry] matcha. Honestly, I forget what the flavor was, but looking back at the color, it looks like it was strawberry. It was whatever fun-flavored matcha they had at the time. I asked for it half sweet. It was still leaning on the sweet side, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. A smooth, creamy matcha. I haven’t been back, but would love to try some of the other drink options. I would get the matcha again as well.

I also grabbed a ham and cheese croissant, which was super tasty. Perfectly flaky and delightful. A pretty decent size as well. Highly recommend getting this or trying one of their pastries. The same owners are behind Yeast Coast Bakehouse, so baked goods are also a specialty here. Funny enough, I enjoyed my Cups & Pups croissant more than the one I got at Yeast Coast. It could have just been the one I got that day, though. If it weren’t so far away, I would stop by more often.

The Parking: This would be the same case as Adriatico’s and Turci Pasta. There are plenty of street parking options. And there is a small lot right behind Cup & Pups and Adriatico’s.
