The last day! It flew by fast, faster than these blog posts. I did as much as I could!
One of my favorite TikTok recommendations was my first activity of Day 6. I took a glass working class at SONG Art & Craft. I chose the glass working class to design rings. It was just me, myself, and I during that session, which lasts 2 hours. After selecting my glass colors of choice, a safety protocol, and a demonstration, I zoned out and enjoyed my time. It was definitely a super beginner level and I wasn’t very good. But it was fun to try something new and to make something. A great activity, I would totally look into doing something like that again.
With my high from the successful TikTok rec, I went to another spot I saw @JanieDevours rave about, Nagare Coffee. The chocolate-chai is the one she talked about and I’d seen the most about. I shoulda known… Cause I really don’t like chai unless my people (Indians) are making it. I understand why it’s a thing, basically like a chai hot chocolate. It just wasn’t for me. I wish I had given the Pearl 40 a try, it had jasmine pearl, vanilla, espresso and milk. That sounded unique and more up my alley. I did get a salted caramel canelé and miso whit chocolate, black sesame cookie, both of those were very good.

The Nagare was right by the Spitalfields Market, so it was a great 2 for 1 experience. I found a cute store called Nobody’s Child that had a lot of cute pieces. They were a bit pricey, but I appreciated they had bigger girl sizes. It was actually kind of cold the week I was in town. I almost went and bought a coat the night I ended up at the jazz club, but didn’t find anything I liked. Ended up finding a super cute trench coat. Safe to say I bookended my bougie purchases between a coat and the perfume on Day 1.
Before I moved on, I found a photo booth, and I like to consider it part of my travel tradition now. A great little pocket memory! This autophoto took a hot minute to print out, and I do find I look wild in the shots. But a fun memento none-the-less.
Next up was another place I believe I stumbled on via TikTok. The Poetry Pharmacy. It took me far too long to find it, but situated upstairs in a shared space with Lush, I finally found it! You can find regular poetry books, but the fun part is the curated pill bottles you can shop for your ailment. Everything from a boost of confidence to existential angst. When you purchase your pills, you get your own personalized prescription along with it. Even though it is a bit gimmicky, I thought it was charming and a very fun concept.

Still on a literary kick, I went up to Primrose Hill Books. It felt like a very homey bookstore. Somewhere I’d frequent if I were a local. Every inch covered in books in no particular organization. Stacks of books everywhere. Each time you picked one up something different underneath. I actually liked it, you didn’t know what you were gonna find. So, I ended up getting a couple books just based on vibes. Across the road was another beautiful park. I love how accessible the parks are and how people really hang out and enjoy them. I wandered for a bit until it was time to get to my main event.
The main event? The Tamil Prince! Did I kind of book this entire trip to try this spot? Kind of… Not really… There’s some truth to it. I wasn’t even sure I was going to be able to go. I actually really wanted to go to the sister restaurant, The Tamil Crown, because they have an Indian inspired Sunday Roast. I wasn’t going to make it back in time for that, plus I don’t think there were any reservations left. But it all worked out. Today was the day of all the good TikTok recs, because my cousin and I had been sending each other videos of The Tamil Prince for months. It was meant to be.
I kicked things off with the Panakam cocktail, which is a rum-based drink with sugar cane, lime, and a Tamil spice mix. It was a pretty simple, refreshing cocktail. I enjoyed it but didn’t think it was super exciting. Then I moved on to the Okra fries. It was a heaping serving, and I absolutely loved them. The batter was light, crispy, and had a fantastic spiced chaat flavor. Honestly, it was too much for just me, but I did eat them all. Definitely an app worth splitting.
The main, main event was the Prince’s special masala dosa. The masala dosa isn’t the standard masala dosa. I wouldn’t say it’s not authentic either. It’s an enhanced version. A nice buttery crisp on the outside, and a wonderfully spiced potato mixture in the inside. It was just so flavorful, I savored every last bite. For something on the ‘Snacks’ portion of the menu, this was a whole meal.
Not knowing when I’d be back… I kept going. Even though there was no room. I ordered the chicken lollipop with sweet chili chutney along with the The Prince cocktail, another rum-based drink. The drink was gorgeous with a picture of the prince on the top, aside from that very similar to the first drink I got. I found that the drinks leaned more towards basic versus punchy, bold Indian flavors. The chicken lollipop was probably my least favorite of the the food I’d ordered. Not bad at all, just no wow factor for me. I’d also been stuffed by this point so I ate one and packed the rest. If I had space or had someone to split with, I’d have tried everything.
A full belly, left me satisfied and happy. I was so glad I got to try it! I headed back to my hotel to get ready to depart. There was a sauna at the hotel I stayed at, which I took advantage of. I ended up having a very nice and relaxing evening.

The next day was very much getting to the airport and getting home. On the way back, I was between two older woman who were chatty. One more than the other. Given the on-flight entertainment options were awful, the women kept me entertained all the way back home. And then I was back to reality.
To sum it up, it was simply one of my favorite trips to date.
Thank you so much for reading! And even more thanks if you kept up with the full trip!
What would be your first stop if you went to London?!
