Noma Cha | Orlando Foodie Finds

At this point, I crave matcha just as much as I crave coffee. I love the tried-and-true Matcha Cafe Maiko and Saiko, but I’m always down to find a new spot. So of course, I made it a point to find Noma Cha at one of their pop-ups.

The Parking: Very dependent on where they are popping up. I went to one of their Boxi Park days. There is a large parking garage, which is FREE. Love that! Even on a busy day, I really don’t think you’d have trouble finding a spot. It’s right across from the park, so just a few steps away. Super convenient.

The Atmosphere: Again, this will vary depending on where you go. I believe they also pop up at events, which would be a totally different vibe. I rarely go to Lake Nona, simply because it’s quite a drive. However, it’s such a pretty area, and I do enjoy the concept of Boxi Park. It’s an open concept with lots of food and drink vendors. Noma Cha was stationed in one of the temporary stalls, but it’s an actual stall location, so they fit right in.

The Matcha: There were a few options I wanted to try, including the fruity strawberry or blueberry options. I landed on the double matcha. It was super creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and totally hit the spot. My only complaint is that I didn’t get another to try a different flavor.

They are rather popular. There was quite a line. Actually, I was a bit deceived, because the line to order didn’t seem too bad. A few folks in front of me, and it took a minute to place my order. But it really wasn’t too bad. However, I didn’t realize that all the people not in line, but nearby, were waiting on their matchas. I must have been there for at least an hour total between ordering and waiting for my drink. They are a small operation, and business was booming, so it’s not a bad thing. But it being an open park and being Florida heat…. I was feeling it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my matcha. However, I don’t think I’ll be making the trek to Boxi Park for it again. If they have a pop-up closer by or in an indoor venue, I’d totally be up for checking them out again!
