I frequent the Downtown Clermont area often and had no idea this spot was coming. Of course, I dropped by as soon as I could. It’s so nice to get more options this side of town!
The Parking: This area of Clermont has plenty of parking. During the week, you can easily find street parking really close. On weekends, it can be busier, especially on Sundays during the Farmer’s Market. You may not find a super close street parking option, but there are plenty of options, and a lot if you get there early enough. The good thing is that it’s all free parking. Sometimes I have to drive around for a few minutes, but I have always managed to find a spot.
The Atmosphere: I loved the space. The walls are covered with fun murals and lovely quotes. The doodles and font reminded me of Those Guys. I’m not sure if it was done by the same artist, but whoever did both, I’m a fan. The space at SevenMade also has handmade pottery, plants, and other cute art on top of the coffee shop. There are a couple of spots to hang inside, but they are rather small. More of a place to have a casual hang with friends or grab and go, not too much space to work out of.
As someone who has stepped away from the Church, but not fully from my faith, I do like seeing kind people who walk in their faith. The staff was friendly, and I enjoyed the touches of faith which they aren’t shying away from, yet not in your face.

The Coffee: You can find the usual suspects. I did like the touch to their specialty menu. There’s… you may have guessed, seven specialties. I tried #6, Rest (which I can always use), on the first visit. In drink talk, it was a strawberry matcha. I appreciated that they asked for hot or iced. I don’t think I’ve ever had a strawberry matcha hot, nor totally interested, but nice to have the option. I usually go for regular milk and did ask for it half-sweetened. I do wonder whenever I think it’s the perfect sweetness, what the full sugar would taste like. Cause I think it would be too much, but the half-sweet version I asked for, perfect. I’m not sure if the strawberry syrup is made in-house. There were little chunks, which I like, even if it gets stuck in the straw sometimes. A very solid strawberry matcha.

I’ve gone back a couple times and tried the banana bread and blueberry muffin latte. I’m not a huge latte person in general. I know this about me. They aren’t at fault for that. The espresso was smooth and good. The banana bread I should have gotten a double shot to balance out the milkiness, which is a latte. The banana syrup is made in-house, and I didn’t enjoy it as much as the strawberry. I don’t love the texture of little crumb-y bits. That texture was just not for me. The chunky strawberry was more up my alley. And the flavor of the latte wasn’t super pronounced. I asked for this half-sweet as well, so I’m not sure I got the full effect. That could be on me. Whereas the blueberry I did get an extra shot. I didn’t ask for half sweet and could taste the blueberry. This syrup wasn’t chunky and I could taste it. However, the combo of blueberry and espresso wasn’t a match for me. I much preferred the matcha.
I’m curious about the other drinks now and the consistency past the first few weeks. There were a few baked goods available, too. I’m not sure if they are made in-house. I’ll be back to try more drinks or even to just shop. I loved all the pottery, plants, and art as well. It’s so wonderful to have a spot like this closer to my side of town. Downtown Clermont has really been popping off these last couple of years!
