Thirsty Husky Coffee | Coffee Date

When you put Thirsty Husky in on Google Maps, it takes you to where the Winter Park Farmers Market is. Of course, when the farmers’ market isn’t going on, it’s nowhere to be found. So I thought I was being bamboozled. Until I finally made it to the market.

The Parking: Depends on where you plan to catch them. If you go to the Winter Park Farmer’s Market, check out this post. And for the Orlando Farmer’s Market, look here.

The Atmosphere: Another mobile coffee shop, at least the one I went to at Winter Park. Right in the heart of the market. It’s nice to have a coffee option as you check out the rest of the booths.

The Coffee: Right off the bat, the pricing on coffee here is so reasonable compared to pretty much everywhere right now. I believe they had an Irish cream latte, it was close to St. Patty’s day, and that sounded like it could be good. I do love trying speciality flavors, but since it was in latte form, I knew I should try something different. They had cold brew, and then I saw they had it in a few cold brew flavors. The Bourbon-flavored cold brew caught my eye. I asked the barista for suggestions between the cold brew and the latte, and based on my preference, confirmed the cold brew was the way to go. She was super helpful and sweet. Then she recommended how to spruce it up, and I gave her full control. She didn’t disappoint. The bite of bourbon was there, but the cold brew was smooth. She sweetened it just enough. I really enjoyed it.

Not sure if I’ll ever be able to replicate that specific cold brew, but I’d be down to try. Or try a new drink. If I make it to another market, I’d drop by again.
